What affects the cost of your garage floor coating?
Every garage is different, so every quote is different. Here's what goes into pricing your project — no surprises, just an honest look at what drives the number.
What affects your project price
1. Square Footage
The bigger the space, the more material and labor it takes. This is the starting point for any estimate — measure your garage (length x width) and we'll take it from there.
2. Floor Condition & Prep
Before any coating goes down, we diamond grind the concrete to open the pores and give the epoxy something to grip. Floors with more cracks, pitting, or old coating to remove take more prep work — which affects the price.
3. Number of Coats
More coats mean more material, more application time, and more durability. Essential and Rhino Ultimate use a 2-coat system, while Showroom steps up to a 3-coat system with a moisture barrier for added protection.
4. Package Level
This is the biggest factor in your final price. Essential covers the fundamentals, Showroom adds the full-coverage showroom look with a moisture-barrier 3-coat system, and Rhino Ultimate is our toughest system — a 2-coat Polycrete build rated for 9,000 PSI.
5. Flake Coverage
Every package includes a full flake broadcast. The flake blend and finish you choose affects material cost and the finished look.
6. Added Protection Features
Anti-slip additive, a moisture barrier, and the Polycrete base coat are built into higher tiers and affect cost accordingly.
7. Warranty Coverage
Essential is backed by a 1-year warranty, while Showroom and Ultimate carry a lifetime warranty. Stronger warranty coverage reflects the added durability built into those systems.
